中国古代艺术与工艺美术、设计与美学思想，融合专业知识、美育、德育、课程思政的通识教育课程。本课程共计32学时，2学分，面向全校各学院各专业本科生开设，主要内容包括古代中国造物文化中的道、器两方面，分为10大专题以讲座的形式展开，集中介绍中国古代恢弘造物文化的基本特征、发展脉络及其背后的思维观念和社会背景。古代工艺美术是一门具有复杂特征的人文学科，它的根本目的是将工艺美术作为一种社会历史现象进行分析阐述，不仅研究设计造物的变迁和物质文明发展，也是思想的历史。它不仅包含着大美术的内容，还包含着人类学、社会学、经济学、心理学和符号学等大量因素。因而本课程尝试改变鉴赏类课程单一的作品介绍，在课程教学过程中融入大量历史知识和典故，发掘中国古代造物传统精神内涵的现代意义，通过讲好古代造物的“中国故事”，弘扬中国优秀传统文化，倡导工匠精神。

“Ramble on ancient Chinese design culture” is a general education course which covers ancient Chinese history and culture, ancient Chinese arts and crafts, design and aesthetics, and integrates professional knowledge, aesthetic education, moral education, curriculum, ideological and political education. This course, with a total of 32 class hours and 2 credits, is open to undergraduate students of all majors in all colleges of the University. The main contents include Tao and utensils in ancient Chinese creation culture. It is divided into 10 major topics in the form of lectures, focusing on the basic characteristics, development context, thinking concept and social background of ancient Chinese creation culture. Ancient arts and crafts is a humanities subject with complex characteristics. Its fundamental purpose is to analyze and elaborate arts and crafts as a social and historical phenomenon. It not only studies the changes of design and creation and the development of material civilization, but also the history of thought. It not only contains the content of great art, but also contains a lot of factors such as anthropology, sociology, economics, psychology and semiotics. Therefore, this course attempts to change the single work introduction of appreciation courses, integrate a large number of historical knowledge and allusions into the course teaching process, explore the modern significance of the traditional spiritual connotation of ancient Chinese creation, promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture and advocate the craftsman spirit by telling the "Chinese story" of ancient creation.
